Alex & Sophie had a joint party this year -- a pool party in the middle of winter! What a great idea!
Here's Catherine initial feelings about going to a pool party. I guess she didn't remember how much she loved the pool on our vacation. :)
After a while, she warmed up to the pool and became a regular fish in the sea. Well, as long as she could still have her head above water.
The indoor pool was so nice, but boy was it hot in the pool area! It truly felt like summer in there, despite the fact that it was only 40 degrees outside!

My sentiments exactly, Catherine! I would cry, too, if put into a pool situation. Maybe you take after your grandma!!
